SYNOPSIS
Fin du XIIème siècle. Dans une Ecosse écrasée sous la domination anglaise, un homme va se lever et donner le signal de la révolte. Après l'assassinat de sa femme par les soldats anglais, William Wallace, à la tête d'une armée inférieure en nombre et en armes, va défier l'envahisseur dans une lutte âpre et sauvage. Il remportera la plus grande des victoires : celle de la liberté.
